    Description

    HO Locomotive Drive Belt
    Rubber Band
These are NOT Traction bands (they do not go on the wheels)
    Packet of 25!!!
For early rubber band drive locomotives. These fit the Hustler, RDC, rotary snow plow, Early F3, F7, GP9 and other locomotives from Varney, Athearn and other manufacturers. These also fits early Lionel HO locomotives made by Athearn.
They hold tension well and have better gripping power than bands made of rubber/latex.
These can be used in place of
Athearn ATH90101, UPC 204, Varney and other brand drive belts on HO locomotives!
    25 bands in each package!
See the photo: New packaging, same great bands, same low price!
See our other ads, we also sell packs of 50!
    Black
    PN: HODB25BK
Some model railroaders prefer brighter colors for easy viewing.

    .
This is a Non-toxic and latex free Product.
I have been asked for size information
    by several buyers
    .
    Inside diameter (across)
    - they measure approximately 9/16ths .
I've been using them on my locos pulleys for a couple years now and they work perfectly in place of Athearn, Varney, and UPC204 belts (which measure about 5/8ths - 1/16th larger) I say approximate as I held on my desk it in between my fingers and squeezed to make it appear as round as possible while measuring.
    Thickness
is about 3/64ths (theirs are slightly smaller at 1/32nd [or 2/64ths]).
    Width
    is 1/32nd (same as theirs).
PLEASE NOTE: These are not Traction Bands (or tires).
These bands are loco engine drive belts (bands) which connect pulleys or shafts on some motors to the drive axles. Many older locomotives have this type of drive arrangement. If what you need are traction tires they are considerably different. There are several sources for traction bands. Unfortunately, I don't handle them but if you do a search on "
    HO diesel traction tires
    " and look for "
    Stewart
    " or "
    Calumet
    " brands, you'll find them.
Be careful though some are variety packs and some cover a range of steam engines (e.g. 510, 511 and 512). I think Pack# 505 is probably what you may need for most HO diesels but verify it before you buy.
