BROCADE SAMPLER
is an extravaganza of color and stitch combinations.  It combines so many stitches so successfully that you must look closely to see all that is there. Each design motif is easily executed and yet viewed as a whole appears complicated. While the original is circular it could surely be adapted to different shapes.  There are two color choices but I only have a photo for the original.
As always I imagine using alternate colors to create a different affect.  While the original colors demand attention, a more subdued pastel combination of colors would make a dramatically different piece.  And while the original piece was framed, there are serving trays with circular openings for inserting needlework.
