Description
This Boy's vintage blazer or suit jacket from the 1970s is new old stock, never worn, with the tags attached.
The outer shell of this blazer has a small gray and green diamond pattern that is highlighted by vertical blue stripes.
It is fully lined with what I think is an Acetate fabric that is soft and silky in a dark blue with a diamond pattern.
This blazer has a one button cuff detail on the sleeves.
It has a notched collar and wide lapels.
This is a double breasted suit jacket that has a 2 button front closure but features 6 buttons when it is fully closed.  There is 1 round brown plastic button on the inside of this blazer to secure the front fastening.  It appears that there were supposed to be 2 of these buttons and that 1 is missing.
The buttons are a gold toned plastic that have been embossed with a fancy pattern.
There are 2 front hip pockets with pocket flaps.
There is a slit pocket on the Left chest.
The blazer has a center back vent.
There is no fabric tag.  I THINK this blazer has been made from a wool or wool blend fabric.
The brand name is Bramley.
This jacket is Size 8.  I measured it while it was laid flat and its measurements are:
Waist:  14" - double for a 28" maximum waist measurement
Chest:  14" - doubled for a 28" chest measurement
Hips:  14 1/2" - double for a 29" hip measurement
Shoulder to Shoulder:  12 1/2"
Shoulder to Hem:  21"
Under Arm to Hem:  13"
Sleeves:  17"
Hip Pockets:  4 1/2" wide x 4" deep
Please note that there are a couple of small holes in the acetate lining that may be moth bites.
